Tidd Talk

Welcome to Tidd Talk. My name is Josh Tidd, and I am currently a sports industry student at the Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. Growing up, I always loved sports. In particular, I have always loved hockey. I do not know exactly when my love for the game began, but my earliest hockey memories stem from me sneaking out of my room to catch the post-bedtime Blue Jackets games with my father. I have been hooked ever since. Not only am I a fan of the game, but I am also a player. I began playing a little bit later in my childhood than most kids, picking up the game when I was 10 years old and never looking back. I played my youth hockey in the Capital Amateur Hockey Association (CAHA) and then played for 4 years of Varsity Hockey with the Westerville Warcats. Now, in college, I play college roller hockey in the NCRHA for the enjoyment of the game.            

My main goal with this blog is to give myself some place to put my thoughts. I have always had an interest in writing and sports journalism and decided now would be the perfect time to begin my blog. Here, you will find my takes on the hottest stories in hockey, as well as my takes on topics I feel like talking about. While this is geared towards the hockey part of my mind, it is really to give me an outlet to share my thoughts on things I am passionate about. I have always been one to explore my creative side and experiment with different forms of media, whether it be YouTube, photography, or even music, this is the next chapter of my story.
